Burke, President of Cognitive Medical Systems. “We already have our first client for the relationship with Health Net Federal Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE HNT) where we’ll be building their entire Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Patient Centered Community Care IT infrastructure in the GovCloud. The solutions we will build on this platform for them and other agencies will be at the FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) Moderate or higher security levels.”
According to the company’s website, the AWS GovCloud framework adheres to U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as well as the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMPSM) requirements. AWS GovCloud has received an Agency Authorization to Operate (ATO) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) utilizing a FedRAMP-accredited Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO).
