Cognitive Medical Systems Closes Third Quarter with Six Contracts Valued at $2.4 million

SAN DIEGO – October 10, 2013 – Cognitive Medical Systems, a specialist in standards-based clinical decision support software, announced that it closed the third quarter with six contracts, all totaling $2.4 million over the next year.
The clients are equally distributed among the Department of Defense, state government and commercial contracts.

The systems are all leveraging various elements of Cognitive’s open-source software platform and being developed in part or in total on secure cloud platforms that includes Amazon’s GovCloud. Doing so provides better and more cost-effective care to patients while giving clinical care staff better tools to make better decisions.
