– San Diego Business Journal list of top companies to be promulgated in August –

SAN DIEGO June 12, 2015 Cognitive Medical Systems, a specialist in standards-based Clinical Decision Support (CDS) software and healthcare IT infrastructure, received word that it will be listed among the area’s best places to work.

The annual survey was spearheaded by the San Diego Business Journal and will be published in August.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to come to work everyday and be surrounded by the smartest, most dedicated group of people in the business who are making a big difference,” said Cognitive Medical Systems’ President and Cofounder, Douglas W. Burke. “Their perseverance in developing intelligent systems that improve the ability for patients, providers and organizations to make informed choices faster means better outcomes and lower costs for all. I’m proud to be associated with them and honored for this recognition.”

Now in its seventh year, The annual San Diego Business Journals Best Places to Work program is conducted by independent research firm Best Companies Group to identify top organizations in the region. Each company undergoes a two-part assessment process, the first being a detailed employer questionnaire that evaluates an organization’s human resource policies, practices and benefit offerings. The second part is an anonymous satisfaction survey that is offered to every employee. Top companies are determined based on the aggregate scores amassed from these questionnaires.
