Cognitive Medical Systems Partners with Accenture on VA’s T4 Next Generation IDIQ
Cognitive Medical Systems, a specialist in standards-based clinical decision support software and healthcare IT infrastructure, announced today that it has teamed with Accenture Federal Services on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Next Generation (NG) program, an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract with a ceiling value of $22.3 billion.
Cognitive will help the Accenture team provide clinical informatics and clinical decision support services to the VA under the T4NG program, which is anticipated to be the preferred method for the VA to purchase IT solutions during its 10-year duration.
“We have a long history with Accenture, and we’re excited to partner with them once again on meaningful work supporting our Veterans through health IT,” says Douglas W. Burke, Cognitive Medical Systems President & Co-founder.
