Cognitive Medical Systems Receives New GSA Health IT SIN

Cognitive Medical Systems, a specialist in standards-based clinical decision support software and healthcare IT infrastructure, announced today that it is one of the first recipients of the General Services Administration (GSA) Special Item Number (SIN) 132-56 for Health IT. The SIN comes as a modification to Cognitive’s GSA Schedule 70 (GS-35F-349DA).

Health IT has been the fastest-growing segment in the federal government over the last six years; the GSA created the new SIN to better distinguish these services from other IT services

Cognitive Medical Systems provides health IT solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Department of Health and Human Services. The GSA Health IT SIN will streamline procurement of the company’s services.
